The Buy X Get Y floating button (FAB) is a small, always-visible button that lets shoppers reopen the BOGO rewards popup at any time, even after they've dismissed it once. It's specific to Buy X Get Y campaigns.
WHERE TO FIND IT
Go to Widgets in your Discount Prime admin, then open the Buy X Get Y floating button card.
WHAT YOU CAN CONFIGURE
Display
- Display widget on store: master on/off switch
General
- Remove close button: hides the small "x" badge on the floating button
- Position: Left or Right side of the screen
- Border radius: slider (0-50) controlling how rounded the button is
Colors
- FAB background color: button background
- FAB icon color: icon color inside the button
- Close button color: background of the small "x" badge
- Close button icon color: color of the "x" icon itself
A live preview shows the floating button positioned exactly as it will appear on your storefront.
NO TEXT TO TRANSLATE
This widget is purely icon and color based, it has no editable text fields, so there's no Language dropdown or translation step for it. It looks the same regardless of a shopper's storefront language.
STEP-BY-STEP: CONFIGURE THE WIDGET
1. Go to Widgets -> Buy X Get Y floating button.
2. Toggle "Display widget on store" ON.
3. Choose the Position (left or right) and adjust the Border radius.
4. Optionally toggle Remove close button if you don't want shoppers to dismiss it.
5. Set the FAB and close button colors.
6. Check the preview, then click Save.
STEP-BY-STEP: VERIFY IT WORKS
1. Confirm you have an active Buy X Get Y campaign.
2. In an Incognito tab, add the qualifying product(s) to your cart, then dismiss the BOGO popup if it appears.
3. Confirm the floating button appears in your configured position and color, and clicking it reopens the popup.
TIPS & COMMON MISTAKES
- Requires an active BOGO campaign, this widget only has something to reopen when a reward is actually available.
- Requires the app embed to be active, same as every other Discount Prime widget.
- Requires the buy-x-get-y plan feature (Prime and above).
- Removing the close button is permanent for shoppers, they won't be able to dismiss the floating button once it appears, use this deliberately.
