The Buy X Get Y popup widget shows an announcement modal when a shopper's cart qualifies for a BOGO reward, letting them pick and add the reward product without leaving their current page. It's specific to Buy X Get Y campaigns.

Go to Widgets in your Discount Prime admin, then open the Buy X Get Y pop-up card.

- Display widget on store: master on/off switch

- Title (default "Your current cart qualifies for these rewards"): 55 character limit

- Subtitle (default "Now you are able to choose between them. Add before checking out!"): 80 character limit

- Select button label (default "Select"): 20 character limit

- Add to Cart button label (default "Add to Cart"): 20 character limit

- Continue Shopping button label (default "Continue Shopping"): 20 character limit

- Remove Continue Shopping button (checkbox, default off): hides that button entirely

- Badge type: show the reward's value as a Percentage or an Amount badge

- Show free gift badge: toggle a badge on free-gift rewards

- Theme colors: Primary color, Secondary color, Border color

- Element colors: Popup background, Header background, Header text color, Sale badge color

- Dismiss behavior: Dismiss until triggered again, Dismiss for 2 minutes, or Keep showing, controls how long the popup stays hidden after a shopper closes it

A live storefront-style preview shows the popup with sample products and your current text/color settings.

If your store publishes more than one language in Shopify (Settings -> Languages), a Language dropdown appears above the Text Customization fields, covering the title, subtitle, and all three button labels.

- Hidden when your store only publishes one language.

- Untranslated text falls back to your default language's text on the storefront.

- A dot next to a language name flags it as having untranslated text.

1. Go to Widgets -> Buy X Get Y pop-up.

2. Toggle "Display widget on store" ON.

3. Edit the title, subtitle, and button labels (and translations, if applicable).

4. Choose the badge type and whether to show a free-gift badge.

5. Set the color palette to match your theme.

6. Choose a dismiss behavior under Advanced.

7. Check the preview, then click Save.

1. Confirm you have an active Buy X Get Y campaign.

2. In an Incognito tab, add the qualifying product(s) to your cart until the reward condition is met.

3. Confirm the popup appears with your custom title, subtitle, and colors, and that selecting a reward adds it to the cart.

4. Close the popup and re-trigger the condition to confirm your dismiss behavior setting works as expected.

- Requires an active BOGO campaign, this widget styles the popup, it doesn't create the reward logic itself. See "Buy X Get Y (BOGO)".

- Requires the app embed to be active, same as every other Discount Prime widget.

- Requires the buy-x-get-y plan feature (Prime and above).

- Character limits are strict, the title, subtitle, and button labels all have max lengths; longer text gets cut off in the editor, not just visually truncated on the storefront.
