Settings Page Overview
A tour of the Discount Prime Settings page: panel language, email notifications, discount labels, profit color thresholds, locale and plan details.
Updated November 1, 2026
The Settings page (sidebar → Settings) holds the app-wide options that aren't tied to a single campaign or widget. Here's what each section does.
Account Language
Choose the language of the Discount Prime admin. This is the language you see in your panel; it won't change what customers see in your store. Available: English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.
To translate storefront text, use each widget's language dropdown instead.
Notification Setting
Pick which emails Discount Prime sends you. All of these are off until you turn them on.
Toggle | You get an email when… |
|---|---|
My actions | A campaign is disabled and its discounts are removed from your store. |
Campaign started | A new campaign goes live. |
Campaign finished | A campaign ends and its discounts have been removed. |
Order on discounted products is submitted | A customer buys a product at a discounted price from an active campaign. |
Scheduled campaign processing started | The scheduled process to add discounts begins. |
Scheduled campaign expiration started | A scheduled campaign ends and discount removal begins. |
Enter the Contact email these notifications go to. It's required.
Emails you always receive
Some account emails are sent regardless of these toggles, for example: welcome and first-campaign emails, a conflict email when a new campaign loses products to another campaign, plan-limit and downgrade notices, and uninstall confirmations. The Weekly Digest has its own switch and turns on automatically with your first discounted order.
Discount labels
Set the text shown on products and orders to name each kind of discount. All labels are required.
Label | Default |
|---|---|
Quantity discount label | Quantity discount |
Volume discount label | Volume discount |
Wholesale / B2B discount label | Wholesale Pricing |
Order & Cart Discount Label | Order & Cart Discount |
BOGO Note | Buy One Get One |
Shipping Discount Note | Discount on Delivery |
Free Shipping Note | Free Shipping |
Performance color thresholds
Discount Prime colors profit results so you can spot problems quickly. The same colors are used on campaign cards, top performers and recent orders.
Color | Rule | Default |
|---|---|---|
Red: Loss | Margin is below this cutoff (−50% to 50%) | 0% |
Yellow: Thin margin | At or above the loss cutoff, but below this one (1% to 100%) | 20% |
Green: Healthy | Margin at or above the thin cutoff (set automatically) | 20% and up |
A preview shows how three sample orders would be colored with your values.
Display & locale
Store currency, Locale and Time zone come from your Shopify settings and are marked “· synced from Shopify”. To change them, update Shopify; they sync here automatically. The time zone is used in tables and emails, and for campaign schedules.
About this app
Plan: your plan name with its campaign and live-variant limits and monthly price, plus Manage plan.
App version: built on Shopify Functions and the current discount APIs.
Safe uninstall: opens the page that pauses your campaigns and restores prices before you remove the app.
Mini FAQ
Does changing the account language translate my storefront widgets?
No. It only changes the admin. Translate widget text with the language dropdown on each widget.
Why am I not getting campaign emails?
Notification toggles are off by default. Turn on the ones you want and check the Contact email.
Can I change my time zone in Discount Prime?
No. It's synced from Shopify. Change it in your Shopify settings.
Where do discount labels appear?
They name the discount on products and orders so customers know what they saved.
