Wholesale Tools is a dedicated, guided shortcut for building a Wholesale / B2B Pricing campaign, separate from the regular Create Campaign flow. Instead of starting from a blank form, you filter by what you're trying to solve and pick a ready-made scenario to start from.
WHERE TO FIND IT
From your Discount Prime dashboard, open Wholesale Tools. It has its own page, distinct from the general Campaigns -> Create Campaign picker.
THE 3 FILTER STEPS
At the top of the page are three clickable steps. Each one filters the template list below to only the templates tagged for that concern:
- Step 1, Who's eligible: templates focused on gating by customer tag, segment, or account
- Step 2, How much (profit protection): templates focused on margin-aware or profit-protected pricing
- Step 3, Which rule (targeting): templates that use a metafield rule to target products
Important: only one filter is active at a time. Clicking a second step replaces the current filter rather than combining it, click the same step again to clear it and see all templates.
THE 6 READY-MADE TEMPLATES
- Margin-based quantity tiers: quantity breaks that scale off your margin, not the raw price
- Margin-share spend tiers: spend-based tiers that protect margin as order value grows
- Negotiated margin (key accounts): a custom deal for one specific, hand-picked account
- Loyalty margin: better margin-aware pricing for repeat wholesale buyers
- Catalog / members margin price list: a metafield-driven price list for a members-only catalog
- Per-customer / key-account price list: a metafield-driven price list scoped to specific high-value accounts
Each template card shows a short description, a concrete example, and an estimated setup time, so you can compare options before committing.
STEP-BY-STEP: USE A TEMPLATE
1. Open Wholesale Tools.
2. Optionally click one of the 3 steps to narrow the template list to your specific concern.
3. Read a template's example line to confirm it matches your goal.
4. Click "Use" on the template. This opens Create Campaign with the Wholesale / B2B Pricing type and that template's scenario already applied.
5. Adjust the pre-filled numbers (margin %, thresholds, eligibility) to match your real business, then save.
STEP-BY-STEP: START FROM SCRATCH INSTEAD
1. Scroll to the bottom of Wholesale Tools.
2. Click "Start blank" in the "Build your own rule" card.
3. This opens Create Campaign with the Wholesale / B2B Pricing type selected, but no template pre-filled, exactly like starting a Wholesale campaign the regular way.
TIPS & COMMON MISTAKES
- Templates only pre-fill a starting scenario. You still need to enter your real margin percentages, thresholds, and customer eligibility before saving.
- The 3 steps are filters, not a linear wizard. You don't have to complete them in order, or at all, they just narrow down the 6 templates.
- This page only builds Wholesale / B2B Pricing campaigns. For any other campaign type, use the regular Create Campaign flow.
- Requires the Prime plan or above, since Wholesale / B2B Pricing itself is gated to Prime and Ultimate.
